Photo Friday | The Bride | Proximity Hotel Wedding
You may have noticed that I didn't get a Photo Friday post up last week. I was headed out for a retreat last Friday and totally slipped up on that! But today I have some exciting news today! I've never really been interested in participating in photo competitions, but I recently participating in one just for fun and last night I received an email that one of my photos has made it to the top 100 of it's category! There we're over 26,000 photos submitted to this contest so I am very honored to have an image rank so high!

This photo was taken at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro, NC at the wedding of my awesome clients, Laura and Jesse. The proximity hotel is known as an award-winning hotel for being the greenest hotel in the country without sacrificing a bit on comfort and style. Everything about their wedding was just gorgeous. Laura was absolutely stunning in her Maggie Sottero gown and I just adored the color palate available in the bridal suite and the warm light pouring in through the giant windows sculpted my bride beautifully. The bridal party might have thought I was a little crazy when I started rearranging the room's furniture, but for this image it was worth it!
I'm excited about the image being so well received! I'll keep you posted on any new developments : )
